Five of top-10 stocks add Rs 86000 crore in market cap; TCS greatest gainer

Five of the 10 most esteemed firms together added Rs 85712.56 crore in market valuation last week, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) arising as the greatest gainer. The market valuation of TCS hopped by Rs 36694.59 crore to arrive at Rs 1403716.02 crore, while that of Reliance Industries (RIL) climbed Rs 32014.47 crore to remain at Rs 1639872.16 crore.

Hindustan Unilever's(HU) valuation zoomed Rs 12781.78 crore to Rs 543225.5 crore.

Also, HDFC added Rs 2703.68 crore, taking its valuation to Rs 442162.93 crore. The valuation of Bajaj Finance remained at Rs 424456.6 crore, an ascent of Rs 1518.04 crore.

Then again, the market capitalisation (mcap) of HDFC Bank sneaked past Rs 3399.6 crore to Rs 838529.6 crore and that of Infosys went somewhere around Rs 5845.84 crore to Rs 717944.43 crore. 

The valuation of ICICI Bank reduced by Rs 28779.7 crore to Rs 520654.76 crore and that of State Bank of India (SBI) plunged by Rs 12360.59 crore to Rs 460019.1 crore.

Bharti Airtel's valuation remained at Rs 391416.78 crore, a decay of Rs 961.11 crore.

In the positioning of top-10 firms, RIL held its main position, trailed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, HUL, ICICI Bank, SBI, HDFC, Bajaj Finance and Bharti Airtel.
